The cup uses tobi-ganna—a technique where a metal tool skips across the surface of the spinning clay—it features rhythmic, textured markings that invite both touch and attention.

The shape gently widens toward the rim, creating a balanced and comfortable feel in the hand. A vivid blue-teal glaze crowns the rim, cascading into a soft white glaze that wraps the lower body. Beneath it all, the reddish-brown clay subtly reveals itself, adding warmth and grounding the piece in its earthy origins.
