2007 Aged Ripe Pu-erh Tea of Mengku in Gift Box

Description

A lovely aged ripe pu-erh made from fermented Mengku area material.  Fermented in 2007 and then aged in Jinggu County before being pressed in 2012.  Aged another 2 years in Jinggu township before being wrapped in paper and then packed in these lovely sturdy beige gifting boxes.

Tea is very smooth and difficult to overbrew.  Camphor, mushroom and sweet taste in a clear burgundy tea soup.  Leaf grade ranges from 9 to grade 3, it’s probably an average grade 7 much like a 7572 production, or a 7562 tea brick.

Perfect tea for gifting, daily drinking, re-sale or serving in a tea house.  Complex without being overpowering.
