A simple, pastoral, barnyard character with a little chocolate and chestnut if your imagination allows. A great value.

The base tea was originally harvested April 25, 2022 by Mr. Liu Zhao Quan in Puer City, Yunnan Province. It’s a one bud, two leaf pick of the Yunnan Big Leaf cultivar growing at approximately 3,600 feet. The tea was finished and pressed on July 15, 2023.

Steeping Instructions

4 grams | 10-12 oz water | 212°F | Steep 4 min.

Traditional Steeping – Use 6 grams of tea in a 150ml gaiwan or teapot with boiling water and steep as follows:

• Rinse – 10 seconds
• 1^st – 10 seconds
• 2^nd – 10 seconds
• 3^rd – 10 seconds
• 4^th – 25 seconds
• 5^th – 45 seconds
• 6^th – 90 seconds
