【Storage Methods】

• Store in a
  cool, dry, and well-ventilated place (temperature 10–15℃, humidity below 60%), away from direct sunlight and high humidity to prevent mold, insect infestation, and softening. Its fibrous texture makes it prone to moisture absorption, so sealing is crucial.
• Use airtight containers like glass jars or vacuum-sealed bags. For fresh Bai Mao Gen, wrap it in a damp paper towel and store in the refrigerator (0–4℃) for 3–5 days; dry Bai Mao Gen requires long-term sealed storage with desiccants.
• Avoid storing with odorous substances to prevent flavor tainting. Regularly check for mold, discoloration, or unusual odor—discard immediately if any spoilage is found.
