I am excited to share what I found during my current trip to China: Dahongpao
This tea is one of China’s most famous tea and has been stored since 1998. It comes in a brick form that you can easily break into 12 pieces, kind of like a chocolate bar.
The aroma of the bar is sweet! When you brew it, you’ll notice a sweet plum aroma. The flavor is rich and complex, and it can give you a nice, relaxed feeling.
If you never had oolong that has been aged for so long this is perfect for anyone who wants to know what a 26-year-old Dahongpao tea tastes like. Unlike plenty of cheap Dahongpao out there, they’re usually made of mixed cultivar. This one is made using only a single cultivar.
Quantity is very limited. I am only going to bring in 40 cakes. So please get them as soon as possible.
