- This heirloom black, glutinous, unpolished rice is organically grown, processed and stored.
- Black rice is known to contain the highest amount of antioxidants, protein and dietary fibre of all rice varieties coupled with lower carbohydrate and high iron-content.
- Cooking: black rice takes longer to cook than all other rices.
- Soak overnight and cook in the pressure cooker with 1:3.5 glasses of water and wait for 3 whistles on high flame and 3 whistles on low flame.
- Even cooked it tends to be el dente.
- Great for desserts, rice bowls, soups & even idlis!
