The ancient tree yellow tea belongs to the slightly fermented tea category. The tea trees have tender raw materials, and due to the division of tenderness and grades, it has the concept of pre-Qingming tea similar to green tea. The premium pre-Qingming yellow tea boasts a superior sense of quality and a sweeter, mellower taste compared to post-Qingming yellow tea, which is one of the reasons for its small production volume and high price.
