The Shui Xian tea tree variety is a clonal, large-leaf, late-maturing type. The leaves are more than twice the size of those from common small-leaf varieties and are thick and robust.

【Production Process】

The production process of Old Bush Shui Xian includes 15 meticulous steps: withering → cool green → shaping (shaking the leaves ⇌ cooling the leaves) → first frying → first rolling → second frying → second rolling → rough fire → winnowing → cooling → sorting → full fire → finishing fire → bundling → supplementing fire.

【The Dry Tea Leaves】

The tea leaves are whole and well-formed with a standard top-grade shape. The color is brownish, with an oily luster, and it has an aged aroma.

【Tea Liquor】

The liquor is clear with an orange-yellow hue.

【Tea Taste】

The taste is rich and brisk, with a strong and mellow liquor. The aftertaste is distinct and refreshing, with a pleasant sweetness. The tea liquor is deep and vibrant, showing an orange-yellow hue.
