Description

Crafted by Sanhe Tea Factory, this Liu Bao dark tea was aged from 2008 and packed on May 21, 2011, in simple raw paper bags that reflect its traditional style. The liquor brews to a deep, clear reddish hue with a rich, full-bodied taste. Its aroma reveals mature aged notes layered with hints of herbal and betel nut fragrance—distinct yet refined, with lasting charm and depth.

Brewing suggestion:

Use 5–8g of tea for about 180–200ml of water. Brew with freshly boiled water (spring water is ideal) for 7–10 seconds each infusion. A Yixing clay teapot is recommended to bring out the best flavor.

About Liu Bao Tea:

Liu Bao is a celebrated historical dark tea with over 1,500 years of production history. Originating from Liubao Township in Cangwu County, Wuzhou, Guangxi, it is famed for its four characteristics:
red liquor, rich taste, aged aroma, and mellow flavor. The tightly rolled leaves display a glossy dark color with golden streaks. The tea is known for its pure, aged fragrance and signature betel nut note. It has long been cherished in southern China, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, and Southeast Asia, especially among overseas Chinese communities, and stands as one of Wuzhou’s most renowned specialty teas.
