Laoshan Green Tea is produced in the specific administrative areas of Laoshan District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province, known as the “King of Green Tea”. It is grown in a unique geographical environment: leeward and sunny semi-hills or hills with a slope below 30°, soil pH 4.5-6.5, deep and fertile brown loam from granite parent rock, organic matter content over 1.0%, soil thickness no less than 60cm, and groundwater level above 60cm.
Picked from tender buds and leaves in Laoshan tea gardens, usually in the early morning when dew is still present to retain freshness, it undergoes classic green tea processing: withering → fixing → rolling → sorting → drying. It has health benefits such as reducing fat and weight, refreshing the mind, promoting metabolism and relieving fatigue. Suitable for a wide range of people, whether tea beginners or tea art lovers.
