7 Citrus Russian Blend (Organic)

Description

An exceptional blend of organic black teas, featuring notes of lemon, lime, sweet orange, bitter orange, grapefruit, bergamot, and mandarin. Created by Le Palais des Thés during its early years, this organic mix of seven citrus fruits was later added to different base teas. An exclusive recipe that can be enjoyed hot or iced.

Unlike the teas produced in Georgia, Russian blends have been consumed regularly in Russia since the 17th century. Originally, these teas were blends of black Chinese teas, but by the late 19th century, Indian teas, particularly Darjeeling, were introduced to the Russian court, diversifying the blends. Since then, it has become customary to refer to all blends of Darjeeling and various Chinese black teas as Russian blends, whether or not they are scented with natural citrus extracts.
