Using high quality tea leaves harvested in the autumn of this year.
“Xiao Qing”, the tea leaves are processed around the afternoon of the next day after picked. Also there are still differences during hours like the early afternoon, the middle of afternoon, and the latest is near midnight. The taste will vary because of the time and the tea will be named differently like “Xiao Zheng”, “Xiao Qing” and “Xiao Suan”.
Dry leaf has dark green color with vivid appearance.
High fragrance and strong tea flavor.
Rich in taste with good Huigan (returning sweetness).
Sweetness along with some sour flavor.
Many old tea drinkers prefer this tea because of the balance on fragrance, sweetness and sourness.
There are also drinkers prefer “Tuo Suan” which has more sourness and the fragrance is high but lack of elegance.
New drinkers always prefer “Zheng Wei” which has elegance on fragrance, minor or none sourness, good sweetness. It is more appealing to general tea drinkers including ourselves.
