What is so different about this Puerh Tea is the leaf material itself. Classic plucking style is usually a bud, a leaf and a bud, or two leaves and a bud. This one is a little different.

The leaf material that this tea is created from comes from long established tea trees that produce large, thick, leathery tealeaves. Once mature leaves are harvested, it is from the point at the base of the leaf stem where the leaf attaches to the branch, where in the early spring/late winter new growth emerges, containing clusters of small buds that Mother Nature has configured into tidy packages that would eventually become leaf shoots.
