Raw power! Like lightning struck a eucalyptus tree. A cup of sweet pine and barely ripe apricot with a spruced-up mouthfeel. Insightfully stimulating, but be careful what you ask it.

Produced September 3, 2022 by Mr. Yan Yi Sao in Jing Mai Mountain, Yunnan, China. It’s a 1 bud, two leaf pick of the Yunnan Big Leaf cultivar growing at approximately 5,900 feet. For more killer tea from Mr. Yan, check out Gold Horse Deer.

Steeping Instructions

Steep 4 grams | 10-12 oz water | 195°F | 4 min.

Traditional Steeping 

Use 4 grams of tea in a 150ml gaiwan or teapot. Use boiling water and steep as follows:

• 10 seconds rinse (discard this steep)
• 1^st steep – 15 seconds
• 2^nd steep – 10 seconds
• 3^rd steep – 20 seconds
• 4^th steep – 40 seconds
• 5^th steep – 90 seconds
• 6^th steep – 3 minutes
