White Peony (Bai Mu Dan) White Tea
Our White Peony (Bai Mu Dan) is from Fuding, Fujian, China, made of freshly harvested tender buds and one or two leaves with a delicate layer of silver hair, and were withered in the sun to allow the natural, mild oxidation to take place. White Peony (Bai Mu Dan) is classed as the 2nd grade white tea after Silver Needle. The taste is floral and fruity, with a subtle umami grassiness and sweetness. This tea is suitable for aging and the flavour will shift over years.
