In Georgia’s Black Sea region, Chinese tea plants were planted and have adapted to the local terroir over the past 175+ years. 

The DNA of the China tea variety yields a Black Tea with some of the qualities we have come to know from China Black Teas…but the unique growing conditions contribute to Georgian Wild Grown Tea’s distinct character…a Black Tea character all of its own.

With added localized nuance created from the processing of the leaves, the result is classic biscuity and bakery Black Tea notes, accompanied by fruity aromas emerging from coppery-bronze tea broth.
