An intensely elemental experience. The deep green color steeps a strong cup of mushrooms, minerals, and lily pads. Salty sea spray and celery soak up the finish.

This fukamushi style sencha was produced from the Shunmei cultivar in March 2025 in the Satsuki region of Oita Prefecture.

Ingredients: green tea

Steeping Instructions

3 grams | 10-12 oz water | 175°F | Steep 3 min. 

Kyusu Teapot Instructions

1st Steep – 10 grams | 8 oz water | 175°F | Steep 60 seconds

2nd Steep – 10 grams | 8 oz water | 175°F | Steep 30 seconds

3rd Steep – 10 grams | 8 oz water | 175°F | Steep 15 seconds
