This handmade teacup comes from Tōhō Village, Japan, a region known for its traditional craftsmanship. The inside is glazed in a light, misty blue that fades to white toward the base, creating a soft, floating look.
The outside features a glossy grey-blue glaze layered over red clay, with natural variations in tone that range from deep blue to soft grey. These subtle shifts in color create a flowing pattern that’s unique to each piece.
Made entirely by hand, no two teacups are exactly the same. The differences in glaze and shape reflect the careful, individual process behind each one.
