Sora Ceremonial Bowl

Description

In its deep blue glaze, this ceremonial bowl captures the azure of the sky, Sora in Japanese. 

Called a chawan, it is an essential accessory for preparing matcha. Its circular shape with a flat bottom and high sides is ideal for whisking tea with a chasen (bamboo whisk), for optimal preparation without spillage.
