Kuding Tea has a history of more than 2,000 years in China and has been used as a medicinal drink since ancient times. Small Leaf Kuding Tea is also known as Green Mountain Green Water Tea. It has a noticeable effect of clearing heat and reducing fire, without the intense bitterness of large leaf Kuding, while retaining the fresh sweetness of green tea. After brewing, it has a bright green color, hence the common name Green Mountain Green Water.
Harvested every year at the Start of Spring, only intact and plump buds are picked. The production process includes fixing, rolling and drying immediately after picking, resulting in tightly twisted leaves with a glossy green color. It tastes slightly bitter at first, then turns sweet with a long-lasting aftertaste. Rich in various trace elements such as vitamin C, flavonoids, protein and ursolic acid, it helps clear heat and detoxify, dispel wind and heat, relieve restlessness and quench thirst. It is suitable for drinking in hot summer, effectively reduces serum total cholesterol, triglycerides and low-density lipoproteins in patients with hyperlipidemia, and enhances immunity. Suitable for a wide range of people, whether tea beginners or tea art lovers.
