Description

These iconic Yunnan buds are pure gold. The mouthfeel of molasses without the excessive mass. The aroma of cocoa and barley in a cup of caramel and hay.

Harvested and produced April, 2025 by Ms. Zhao Yu Jie in Feng Shan Town, Feng Qing County, Yunnan Province. It’s a one bud, one leaf pick of the Feng Qing Big Leaf cultivar growing at approximately 5,900 feet.

Ingredients: black tea

Steeping Instructions

4 grams | 10-12 oz water | 212°F | Steep 5 min.

Traditional Steeping

Use 6 grams of tea in a 150ml gaiwan or teapot. Use boiling water and steep as follows:

• 10 second rinse (discard this steep)
• 1st Steep – 25 seconds
• 2nd Steep – 20 seconds
• 3rd Steep – 50 seconds
• 4th Steep – 1 minutes, 45 seconds
• 5th Steep – 3 minutes, 30 seconds
• (Or steep it however you want)
