Description
Bodegas Valdemar, a family winery founded in 1889 and now led by the fifth generation, the Martinez Bujanda siblings. Their holdings span all 3 subregions of Rioja (Alta, Alaves, Baja), as well as here in the United States (Columbia Valley, Washington). It was in 2019 that this family decided to blend their Rioja tradition with Washington state fruit. Entre Nosotros is a blend led by Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Petit Verdot, and a touch Syrah, aged for about 18 mo in French oak. This wine shows the bold blackberry and chocolate notes that Washington offers up in its wine. With firm, but polished tannins, this wine will pair best with grilled meats.
