By Qing Pu’er standards this Raw Puerh is just out of its first trimester of aging, being a bit over 10 years old. 30 years of aging is considered the entry into the Mature category of Qing or Raw Pu’er Tea.

Even at this still developing age the leaves will produce a highly satisfying steep especially if care is taken to extract more gently with a water temperature of 175 and, at first, a lighter tea broth color. After a few steeps, gradually increase color slightly and enjoy cup-after-cup of silky and sweet puerh tea broth.
